Expensive and rude staff when I called not very helpful
Chad, we have no record of you ever actually coming into our shop. I do not know what work we quoted that you claim is "expensive" as you do not say. But in any event, we try not to give quotes over the phone (for obvious reasons). However, some people, like you apparently, insist upon receiving one and so we err on the side of caution and give high numbers; we do not want to get accused of not honoring a low price. It is important to remember that a quote on the phone is nothing more than a "guess" as modern vehicles are complicated machines that require expert diagnosis and that can only be performed in person. There is no doubt we are not the cheapest in town, but I am confident that we do not sell our customers anything they do not genuinely need and we stand behind our work (12 month/12,000 warranty on all parts and labor with lifetime warranty on brakes, exhaust and shocks/struts). If you felt we were rude on the phone then I apologize but could it be you were just upset that the cost was more than you expected and this upset you?
